Marino has a restaurant. One day, when he entered his digital banking website to see the accounts of his business, the thieves stole 5,000 euros from him. It is a fraud known as phishing, one of the scams that is growing the most. "I got a pop-up window with the look of the bank saying to put my password. I hit a key and my money went out," says Marino. Juan Pablo Palomar, his lawyer, has filed a lawsuit against the bank and another against the thieves. According to Juan Pablo Palomar of Palomar Abogados, the bank has the obligation, in this case, to return the money. "We've had the same situation for several months and the banks aren't doing anything about it," he says.
